This Week’s Festive Highlights

Kokomo’s 12 Days of Christmas kicks off this week. From 5 pm to 8 pm on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, indulge in festive delights like storytelling with Mrs. Claus, ice skating, s’mores by the fire pits, letters to Santa, and, of course, a visit from Santa himself!

First Friday, spanning from 6 pm to 9 pm in downtown McCulloch, promises live music, enticing vendors, and delectable food. It’s always a memorable time.

Grace Arts Live presents “Elf The Musical” with Friday and Saturday shows at 7:30 pm and a Sunday matinee at 2 pm. Secure your tickets at www.graceartslive.com.

Saturday Spectacles

  • Charity Poker Tournament: 11 am at McKees Pub & Grill. $100 buy-in, with 50% supporting women in need. Contact Liz at 928-486-3230 for details.
  • Desert Hills Fire District Pancake Breakfast: 8 am to 10:30 am.
  • Desert Hills Fire Toy Drive at The Bunker Bar: 11 am to 4 pm. Donate a toy and enjoy off-roading fun. Santa arrives by helicopter for photos and treats with Mrs. Claus.
  • Grease at the Drive-In: $20 per car or $5 on foot. Vintage car entry starts at 3:45, others at 4:30 at The Dillard’s Parking lot. 50/50 raffle, Old Fashioned Concession Stands. Dress in 50’s attire. Movie broadcast on station 93.5; bring a radio!
  • Kiwanis 47th Annual Toys for Tots Golf Tournament: Check-in at 6:30 am, shotgun start at 8. Four-person scramble format, $100 per golfer, $80 per member. Coffee, donuts, and lunch provided.
  • Night at The Speak Easy: 6 pm to 10 pm at Copper Still Distillery. Dress in era-appropriate attire, celebrating 90 years since the end of Prohibition. (21 years or older)

Sunday Serenity

  • Hav A Sis Breakfast with Santa: 9 am to 12 pm at Four Clovers Restaurant. $10 per adult; children with a paid adult are an additional $5. Pancake breakfast with goody bags and a chance to meet Santa!
  • River Riders MC Toy Run: 12 pm to 6 pm, starting from Pirates Den and culminating in downtown McCulloch, spreading joy through toy donations.
  • Christmas Tree Lighting at Wheeler Park: 6 pm, the perfect end to your weekend, complete with Santa!
